Special Offer Only For U.S. Flight Instructors

AvWx.net is a supplementary weather service that lets you request TAFs, METARs,
satellite pictures and radar maps using the current generation of internet-enabled color-screen cell phones.
Except for some Verizon and Nextel phones, most cell phones with a color screen and an internet browser are
compatible with AvWx.net. Browse this site to learn more about AvWx.net
and how it can help your students fly more safely.
Free Offer! For a limited time, we're offering U.S. CFIs a free one-year subscription
to AvWx.net. Use AvWx.net and see for yourself how it helps you make better weather decisions. Then, if you agree
that AvWx.net is a useful tool, show it to your students. We'll give you a referral code when you sign up, and if
5 or more of your flight students subscribe using that referral code, we'll extend your subscription for an additional
year.
All free subscriptions must be originated on this page. Sorry, but no refunds for subscriptions
made through the normal AvWx.net PayPal sign up process.
To use the AvWx.net, you must have an xhtml compatible cell phone. We have a list of phones
currently used on the system.
Fly safely, and remember that AvWx.net is not a substitute for a prefilght
weather briefing from the Flight Service Station.
To start the sign-up process, enter your name exactly as it appears on your CFI certificate and
the month and year it was issued, then click the CONTINUE button.
Note: The sign-up process assumes the standard two year terms for CFI certification,
and calculates back from the published expiration date in the FAA database. If your current certificate has a
non-standard term because of a change-of-address or some other reason, try entering your expiration date rather
than the date shown on your certificate.
